everytime after i shutdown my pc i hear a buzzing noise (not very loud) coming from my hdd for about 1 second. During normal work I can’t hear the hdd at all. Just want to know if this is normal.

Hi, it use to happen that to me with my old maxtor hdd, i guess that is just when the power fully disconnect from the unit
Yes exactly. Just want to hear that this is normal 
i believe so, my laptop and desktop they both make the same noise, one has a Caviar green and the other one has a Hitachi hdd
I found a youtube video where a WD drive is shut down. At 0:34 the sound occurs. So obviously its normal.
