I have had the drive for a while with a 50gig part. and 450gig part along with a primary IDE drive. The IDE drive is putting out i/o errors and was removed. Now I boot up and during POST it finds a drive on SATA with no name to it. If I go into the BIOS is shows a HDD in the boot order with no name. When I try to load Win 7, it can’t find a HDD and asked for a driver disk which is MIA and I can’t locate the drivers on WD’s website. I know the unit is working because I had been just using it. Anyone have any ideas ?

Have you replace the data cable or if possible test your drive using another computer.
