WD40efrx takes long to respond/access (Red, 4TB)

Hello all, as no one in the German community seems to be able to help me with my issue, I’ll try my luck here. :slight_smile: My problem: I’ve got a WD Red here, with 4TB (model WD40efrx). Whenever I need one of the files on this drive, it often takes up to five or more seconds until my drive responds. It seems like it has to wake up from a kind of “hibernation”. After some research via Google, I’ve read about an existing firmware-update, but the tool, which I’ve got from the support section told me “no firmware needed”. Does anyone have an idea, why it takes so long, or if there is any solution to this issue? Truly Yours Chris
