I have installed the ED30EZRX 3 TB Western Digital on my ASUS P8P67 on SATA 6Gb/s. It worked it; I formatted the 3 TB properly and made my partition.
Then I copied a few datas from my other HDD, but suddenly an error came up that copying has an error and the Intel Rapid Storage came up and recognized the 3TB drive. Then everything seemed to be fine and I continued…
A few minutes later it happened again and since now the drive is no longer present in Windows Drive Management, nor in BIOS (EFI)! I have used a different SATA port and switched from 6 to 3 Gb/s.
Doesn’t work!! The drive doesn’t seem to work anymore. Does any one has an idea???
