Can I install a 3TB WD30EZRSDTL drive in a standard SATA to USB enclosure (such as the Antech MX-100) or does this drive require some special electronics in the enclosure to support the larger than 2.2TB size?
I’m pretty sure it has to support 3tb drives, as I put mine in a SATA case I used for 2TB drives and it only saw it as 2.2tb. I started another thread asking for some case suggestions, so maybe someone will reply with one that also does eSATA.
