WD1502faex, Seems to be the mystery drive of the ages

I have searched all over for a good price on this drive. First of all, I can’t find anyone that has it in stock. I even checked with the Western Digital store. This is suppose to be one of the best drives around.

I have contacted the online message center to WD. After repeated attempts to find out why there is no supply of this drive I have just about given up.

Does anyone know why this drive isn’t available ??

either its new and they havent gotten too many in the channel (distribution) or they are having problem with yields and they cant get enough out to public, like what happened with the wii initially

All I wanted was a reply from WD as to what the problem was. Still waiting.
