WD10PURX-64E5EY0 Question

What does the 64E5EY0 mean?
I want to replace this drive with a larger WD Purple drive for Q-See system.

Just don’t want to purchase a new drive that is not compatible.
Looking at the WD20PURZ.

“64E5EY0” indicates the warehouse details, manufacturing country and parameters used in internal operations at WD warehouse. Such details are used in WD’s internal operation by WD which not disclose to customers.
WD always provide same capacity of drive under RMA.Capacity would be increase if same capacity of drive is not available in WD’s inventory or stopped manufacturing.

Thank you, asp73
