I am having trouble with my brand new HDD that I just bought before Christmas. I have tried plugging it into different sata ports and have use different sata cables and the BIOS is still not being detected by the BIO, I haven’t tried the jumper as I found out the Mobo that I have, Gigabyte z97p - d3 apparently supports it. I have an SSD, 2 Hitachi HDDS and the brand new WD 1TB HDD.

Have you tried using a different SATA port and different SATA Cable?
