Wd1002faex black missing?

Just got my brand new computer today. I have a SSD and a 1tb wd1002faex black for storage. I have the Asus p8p67 deluxe motherboard and both hard drives are plugged into SATA 6gbps ports (and have to be because of my core i7 2600k). The drive is not listed when I go to “my computer” it only shows the 64gb SSD. Yet it is recognized and appears under my devices, as well as in the BIOS. I’d really appreciate some help finding a solution for this. Let me know if you require any further information.

Look in the Disk Manager…

Press WinKey + R and then type diskmgmt.msc in the RUN dialog box. Look on the right hand side of the Disk Manager window. You should see WD drive there. You may have to initialize the drive. Right click on the drive header and follow the instructions.
