I was considering purchasing the WD TV Play for my son for streaming videos from a NAS server but was told that the WD TV Play does not support metadata like the WD TV Live. Is that true, or will the feature be added in the future?
That is true.
No one but WD knows what the future holds for the Play, and WD seldom gives any future insights.
