As above - seems obvious but I’d want to be sure - is it possible, in the same time to get picture from hdmi socket of WD TV and the sound from AV/RCA Composite ?

yes, if you set the Audio Output to “Stereo” Setup > Audio/Video Ouput > Stereo
i’m assuming you want to connect the Red / White Audio cables to a Stereo Amplifier and watch the TV picture via HDMI
