how do i go about removing files from the drive

i’ve tried resetting it and i’ve removed them from the computer (it works over a wi-fi network adn the files ae on the computer)

but the files, even though deleted, are still showing on the wd

is there a way of removing them using the remote or do i need to go via a sub menu to do this?

If you delete files from network storage, all you need to do is go back to the HOME screen on the WDTV and then back into the file listing.  

If you delete files from a Media Server, you need to have your media server rescan its content and update its database.

It depends on your media server.  They all do it diffently…
