WD TV Live Media Player stream USB Mp4 to local network andriod/ipad?

Hi there!

I have WD TV Live Media Player  r and I have attached a 2TB WD USB to it with a bunch of mp4 movies. I can see the player in my windows 7 explorer, which is fine, but I want to be able to see the mp4 via an Andriod or an iPad. Does anyone know what can I can use to do this and stream movies FROM my WD TV Live Media Player to my local network non-windows devices?

Hello creed303, the SMP will share any connected USB drives on your local network as a shared folder. See if you can download any app that are capable of accessing shared folders. See page 26 of the manual for more information.
