WD TV Live HD Plus not detecting network

I recently got cable internet and bought a linksys WRT400N and a WD TV live HD plus to watch videos from my computer in my room, on the tv in the living room. It plays videos from a external hd but it’s not recognizing my wireless network. I’ve been able to connect my laptop to the wireless network but not the WD live.

any help?
