WD TV LIVE does not read 3 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD

I recently purchased a WD TV Live SMP and a 3 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD.

I put the Hard drive in an “ICY BOX IB-372StU3-B”

The Hard drive works on my computer. But the WD TV doesn’t recognize it.

I think the problem is the box but I’m not sure.

The WD TV SP does support a 3 TB hard drive, right ?

Can someone help me please ?

What filesystem is the drive formatted to?

The Hard drive is using the NTFS file system.

With a GUID partition table the SMP (on current firmware) should be able to see the HDD.

I already tried this but it doesn’t work…

I really think that the problem is the “ICY BOX IB-372StU3-B”.

What type of box should I use ?
