WD TV Live can't access network shares - Win 8.1

Network shares were working fine with my previous modem/router combo from TWC. I replaced this with my own Motorola modem and TP-Link router and network shares have not worked since. WD device does have internet access. I got the idea to check pinging the device from my pc. Results are as follows:

Any ideas? I have a feeling i need to change router settings as all the computer share settings are the same as what worked before but I’m in over my head in the networking area.

Hi ItsRG, welcome to the Community. What message do you get when you try to access the shares?

When trying to access the shares from the WD TV Live, the WD just searches indefinitely, finding nothing.
