WD TV Live and variable skipping

Hi

I’ve read a few forums about WD TV Live complaints and wish lists.  One qury, though…

In Australia, we get Gridiron in the middle of the night, so I record games.  I’ve also noticed that the time between plays is about 30 secs.  My Pioneer DVD recorder allows 30-sec jumps.

Is there any way to get the WD TV Live to alter the 10-minute skips?  That is, has new firmware been released for this, or has a “homebrew” fix been written?

On WD firmware it still skips 10 minutes.

On others then it depends on the features the custom firmware offers.
