Hi there,
Try to run the application as administrator to see if this helps fix the issue. Were you able to install the application without any issue?
Yes, it installed ok i followed all the steps, When mentioned about Run as an Administrator you mean me or as a guest ? Anyway I’ve tried both and it happens, Is it worth uninstalling to reinstall ?.
Thanks

What are the OS versions? Are the OS versions the same between the Mac Mini and the Mac Air?
Seems lots are having trouble with El Capitan and both the My Cloud and the WD software based on recent threads.
Mac Mini El Capitan 10.11.5 Mac Air El Capitan 10.11.4
Another problem with 10.11.5?
I updated my MacBook to OSX 10.11.5 yesterday and not the My Cloud drive is basically unusable in Finder.
It is so slow and some folders never even show any contents.
I have rebooted the Mac, the router and the My Cloud drive and it’s the same. In the iOS app and on my Windows machine everything works fine.
I have the My Cloud pulling a static IP address and the way I connect on my Mac is to go to “Connect to a server” and use that address.
