Errors reloading software caused by WD Sync. Attempting to install software without the external drive connected causes problems. Somehow WD Sync wants the external drive connected, even after attempting to remove all traces of WD Sync from the computer. Typical errors are "Error 1327. Invalid Drive G:" if the Passport is not connected. Also Internet Explorer will not work properly if the drive is not connected. How do you completely remove WD Sync and get back control of your own computer?
