WD Sync can not sync folders

Hi Support Community,

I am facing the issue that I can’t add folders that should automatically sync via WD Sync (all folders are greyed out, existing folders aren’t properly update anymore).

After reading a bit I also recognize that the current WD Sync app is from 2016 and my current Operation System Mac OS X 10.13 is not supported at all… Therefore 2 questions:

1. Is my problem caused by the missing support of the operation system? Is somebody facing/solving the same issue?

2. Why is here no state-of-the art app in place? I would see the sync function as a core feature of a NAS, how can it be that you don’t support the current versions?!

I use the newest WD Sync available (https://support.wdc.com/download/notes/Mac_WD_Sync_2.0.1.72_SW_Release_Notes.pdf?v=357)
