Hi there. My PC will not seem to find my WD Personal cloud device most of the time.

When I open the program, there is no drive visible.

By checking my back ups, its not backing up either.

I cannot seem to find a solution.

Hello CSE235,

You should try using WD Smartware instead of WD Smartware Pro as WD do not provide the support for the WD Smartware Pro anymore. However, it is recommended to uninstall the WD Smartware Pro and reinstall the WD Smartware.

I made the mistake of “removing” the ghost drive from my pc.

How do I go about re-installing it?

The network connection says it is still connected.
