Since a few days my WD Smartware isn’t working any more. Tried to install it new with WD Smartware Installer but always appears that “Microsoft .NET framework is required”. But .NET framework is installed on my Windows up to 4.5. What can I do??

What version of WD SmartWare is the one you are trying to install? What operating system do you use? And what happens if you re-install Microsoft .Net Framework?

I’m not trying to install, it’s an automatically downloaded Smartware update. Running Windows 8.1 and reinstalling .NET framework isn’t changing anything on the message regarding “NET framework is required”. If I press “Accept and install” updater disappears.
