I have a My Book that I have connected to an Airport Extreme, I can access it as a share drive but I cannot run WD Smartware for automatic back up. Is this possible to do or will it only work as a share drive while connected to the router?
When connected to the router it will only work as a share drive.
The only drive that work with Smartware from the Network is My Book Live.
