WD Sharespace raid5 failed again in just 1 day


For almost two months we used our WD sparespace in degraded mode since HDD2 failed. Just two days ago I replaced it with same 2 TB wd hard drive but with different model. i.e.  instead of original WDC WD10EADS-11M2B2, I replaced it with WDC WD10EZRX-00A3KB0.

After some hours, it recovered and the status was good for all HDD. Suddeny, today I noticed HDD3 failed and  again in degraded mode.

Just for your information, while it was recovering, the hard drive was being used by all users.  What could be the cause for the hard drive failure? Is it because diferent model?

Now it shows unassigned next to HDD3 and status failed.

Normally when it comes to the sharespace unit, I always recommend using the same model drive on it, on this case the drive used to replace the bad drive is a Sata 6 Gbps instead of a 3 Gbps this could be one of the causes. Lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
