WD sharespace and WD Caviar® Green™ hard drives unavailability

Upgrade Sharespace 2TB with 2x WD10EARS?

Hi everyone, I have a Sharespace 2TB with 2x 1TB hard drives and contacted WD support to ask them which drive I should buy if I want to upgrade it to 4TB. They said that ANY CAVIAR GREEN drive will work. So I ordered 2x WD10EARS. I have not installed them yet because browsing through this forum I read: a) Caviar Green drives are NOT RAID COMPATIBLE b) EARS-drives don’t work in Sharespace So which is true? Should I send my drives back and get WD10EADS? Thanks Matt
