WD ShareSpace and Cisco Router Issues

I upgraded my dlink router with a Cisco (Linksys) N750 (EA 3500). I cannot get a link light on the ShareSpace or the router., therefore I cannot access the drive, When I put the old router in place I get a link light and can access the drive.

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps

-Changed cables (4 different cables, all of which have been tested as good
-Tried every port on the new router
-Set ShareSpace to DHCP
-Hard set an IP address
-Updated firmware on new router

Any suggestions?

Did you check the firewall on the new router?

Yes I did.  I even disabled it, with the same result-no link.
