I’m factory resetting the WD Sentinel DX4000 and formatting its hard drives and its taking quite a while. The dialog box says that formating and reseting may take serveral minutes but it has already been a couple hours. How long does it typically take to reset? Also the progress bar is not filling up at all, is this normal?
Kinda depends on why you are doing the restore. If the drives were in good shape it should not take that long. If the drives neeed to initialize it may well take a couple of days. You must leave the “host PC” connected during this time
