WD SE 4TB - Pros and Cons for Desktop

I am looking at upgrading my Desktop HDD from 1TB to a 4TB WD SE HDD, I also have a 256GB SSD drive.

Can anyone give me any reasons why an enterprise WD SE in this setup on a desktop is a bad idea? i.e. Desktop gets shutdown everyday unlike a NAS running 24 hours, is that something the SE drive is not designed for?

Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

The WD SE Datacenter hard drive is designed for large-scale datacenter replication environments running 24x7x365. It would be better suited with NAS used for 24*7 operations. However, you can also use high performance WD Black Internal hard drive if not using with NAS enclosure.
