"WD RE" vs "WD RE4" - what is the difference?

I noticed that some of the WD2000FYYZ drives that we received have “WD RE” on them, while others have “WD RE4”.

What is the difference between “WD RE” and “WD RE4”?

As long as they have the same model number, they will have the same specifications.
