Hi,
I bought a 2tb WD Purple HDD for Archiving and Backup and noticed first speed drops to kb/sec by Copy or Moving files.
Then I experienced HD Freeze and even Partition Disappearing, data loose which needed Reboot and scandisk and repair.
I sent it to Warranty and Bought a second one. The same happend by this Purple too.
Then I Bought a WD Blue and It works fine.
The Purple seems not to be suited for PC usage.
Can anyone confirm?
