WD Purple Not showing up in Dashboard

I just ordered an 8TB 256MB Purple from Amazon and the HDD does not show up in the WD Dashboard tool.

I also noticed in the Device Manager it shows as 2 instances of jMicron rather than my other WD Red Drives that start with WDC.

A WD Purple is a surveillance drive, with that we want to verify the drive itself is working and free from defects. We would suggest installing the drive in a Windows computer as a secondary drive and testing using WD Dashboard.
