Hello all,

We have a custom NVR running with 4 x 6TB WD Purple NV HDDs. We are wanting to expand this to 8 drives. However I can’t find anywhere the supplies the NV range and has them in stock. Scan has 1 left.

The specs of the 6TB Purple seem the same or better then the NV range, is that the case? The only difference seems to be the NV range utilised IntelliPower for rotational speed.

The question is, if we use the non NV HDDs in the raid with disks from the NV range, will we have any issues?
