My ASUS_AC5300 seems to support VPN SERVER and VPN CLIENT based on info I checked online. I’ll work on it as soon as I get home.

I see I can setup user profile on the client side.

Does that mean I don’t have to install OpenVPN on my laptop?

How do I make the connection on my laptop when away from home?

Check the Asus site/support for more info. That is what I would do.

WD support recommend I turn of Product Improvement Support (PIP). You may want to try that:

Hi guys,

Regarding the VPN

I created the VPN and I’m able to connect to router remotely but I can’t see my network server. Is it because the files are shared to specific users.

Any help is welcomed. Thanks guys
