i loaded new videos on my hard drive and the media player won’t load files.Got it working twice then nothing.My laptop wont load it either.

Test the unit on a desktop computer using the back USB ports of the computer to make sure that the unit is getting enough power.
Also if possible, try using a different USB cable.
