WD Passport Ultra 4TB with WD Backup Issues

My WD Passport Ultra 4TB used to work nicely with WD Backup but then all of a sudden it is no longer working properly.

I formatted the drive (both quick and long) and the WD Backup software says it cannot perform the backup because there is not enough space.

I am trying to backup a 3TB drive to the 4TB WD drive. It used to work…

3TB Capacity: 2.72 TB - 3,000,584,572,928 Bytes (2.72 TB used)
4TB Capacity: 3.63 TB - 4,000,617,312,256 Bytes (3.63 TB free)

Anyone have an idea I might try?

I found that WD SmartWare also was not able to back things up to the drive correctly…
