Hello, please help me. I am happy of my purchase of my WD Passport. Unfortunately, just recently it fell on a tiled floor… and now when I plug it in my Mac OS X 10.6.8 in no less than 3minutes of plugging it in it just ejects itself and a pop up message containing. " You have not ejected you’re passport correctly" appears on my screen…what should I do? Can it still be fixed? I have so many important files stored in it, and I do not wish to discard it because it is expensive to buy a new one and it is a 1TB memory passport. Please help. Thanks.
You can go to disk utility and run first aid and see if that helps
you might need a recovery software if unable to fix the partition
