I have bought it last week and it didn’t read the hard disk drive on my LED tv is of samsung company full hd 40 inch. Please suggest some solution for it.

Well, please go thru the article and follow the steps mention in order to check the drive is working or not if it is working please check the file system of the drive which is compatible with the TV
I would request you to please contact the host device manufacturer to know about which file system does your TV supports and if the issue still persists you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.
