WD Passport 500GB is not detected

WD Passport 500GB is not being detected on my system (WIN 7) though light is on. When I connect same drive to other laptops, it is being detected.
Just to check the compatibility of my system, I connected segate extrernal HW to my laptop, to my surprise - it is easily detected in my system.

So the issue is only my WD drive not being detected on my laptop (while all other drives are being detected and this drive is also being detected in other laptops).

Kindly advise, how to resolve this problem?

You can check after updating the drivers of Windows 7. If issue still persists, follow the steps provided in below article to check the behavior of My Passport in your computer.
