I recently recieved a brand new 2TB WD Passport and I have the constant problem of it connecting and disconnecting, making it practically unusable. I have searched around for answers such as altering the power settings for the USB ports but nothing has worked for me. This happens in both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. I am using a Toshiba Sattelite laptop with Windows 7 64-bit installed.
I spent a lot of money on this drive and I really need it, could someone please help me out with this frustrating issue?
