I have WD NAS Ex2 Ultra, I want to backup from NAS to my USB Hard Disk. But I have to go to the WD GUI Interface to check if the USB Backup is complete. Is there a Status Indicator that will show a Notification once the Backup to USB from NAS is complete?
Have you checked the User Manual for your device or the Knowledge Base? Are you using a Windows, Apple or other device?
I have Windows 11 Pro and did a backup yesterday from my Thumb drive attached to my router to my WDMYCLOUD Two (OS5) and the status was shown from the time it started until it was completed.

See the following WD Knowledgebase Article. It indicates there is a status indicator when a NAS to USB drive backup is being performed and when finished.
Select NAS to USB backup at that knowledgebase article link for directions and images.
- The dashboard will show the progress of the back up
- Backup Completed will show up when the backup is done
There is no external (LED, email, etc) USB Backup status indicator or notification.
