WD N900 Central - Internal Drive limit to READ only?

i’m liking my WD N900. I want to put my music and other media to share with folks on the network.

HOWEVER, it looks like it is either the entire thing is PUBLIC SHARE READ/WRITE ACCESS, or password protected to access it, but once they have access with a given login/pass it too is READ/WRITE

Is there a way to setup a different user account so it is simply READ access?
