What is the least expensive I can purchase which I can install Plex Server? Am I required to by the WD mycloud mirror or would another less expensive product work?

The mirror is the lowest end product on which Plex is supported. But remember you get what you pay for – the capabilities on the Mirror are greatly reduced due to the low CPU performance…
Would I notice a slower performance when installing Plex on the My Cloud Mirror as compated to Windows 8 PC with A8 processor.
If so, which WD product would give me comparable performance?
