I didn’t mention the kernel so you would have to compile. It was just for reference. The ufsd.ko and jnl.ko are for
the NTFS filesystem. As for WD fixing the problem. I don’t think they have the proper people working on the OS.
There fix for almost any problem is to rma the device. I need to spend some more time looking into the sleep issue
on the gen2.

The ones who gets an issue about sleeping should use your script first than if everythings seems OK but no solution, I suggest to factory reset which worked perfect in my case.
