Hi I have just purchased WD MyBook Studio II 4tb and out of the box plugged it in. To my desktop w/ windows 7 ultimate x86 and nothing happened. As if nothing was connected to the pc. I then plugged it in into my laptop. Windows found new hardware, installed, everything seems to be successful even some kind of WD icon appeared in the tray. However I do not see any external storage connected in My Computer folder & in my Disk Management in the computer management. Is there anything that I need to install in order for me to be able to use the device? I do not like this idea. My seagate 2tb which I wanted to replace with wd played without any external software requirement. What can I do in order to make this thing work? before I return it. Thanx!
