My WD MYBOOK is not working… In my WINDOWS VISTA 64bit PC it says in: MY COMPUTER Not responding, then after few mins I get a message that says my I: or C: drive needs to be reformat. It will erase my data if I do that though. I figure I need maybe a few drivers to fix it, but Can’t find anything on WD site. Can anyone help out? I have 500GB MYBOOK PREMIUM model # WD5000P032. Reboot, unplug power and try again.
Try on different machine. Some people have luck with this method.
