Hi there,

I am planning to buy My Passport Ultra (4TB) but I am not sure of its compatibility with Linux OS since the product page specifically mentions OS as Windows/Mac

Please anyone clarify if this can be reformatted to be used with Linux (Suse Linux) OS.

You can format the drive to any OS, it will support NTFS, HFS, LINUX, FAT32 ExFAT

yes to above … but also, it must be … GPT Partitioned for the full 4TB capacity.

If you partition it with MBR Partition Style … you will only be able to access 2TB
