WD My Passport Setting Up Password on one partition

Hello,

I have WD My Passport 500GB and 2TB. I want to parition into two and put a password on certain partition, this way, I have confidential data on the secured partition (with password) and pubic partition where I can store / share files with my collegues. Is this possible? or both partition on the drive will be protected with password?

eg. on a single wd my password drive

Drive G - with password

Drive H - without password

Not sure if that’s possible since the WD Security will protect the full drive, is a hardware encryption.
