I tried searching different forums or message threads for an answer, but every problem is alittle bit different. My external hardrive was working fine until I updated to Yosemite. I did not have my external hardrive connected when I did the update. After the update, I connected my external hardrive and it pops-up on the desktop. I can open it and I can see all the contents but when I try to do anything (open a video file) I get the rainbow wheel and then my passport abruptly closes. Can anyone please help me with this?! I have lots of video stored on this external hardrive =(
