WD My Passport Drive Not Recognized by TV

Quick Question.

Is there any reason my “WD My Passport” HD is not recognized by my TV but my other hard drive a WD Elements one is recognized? Is it because of some kind of security on the My Passport?

Both are formatted NTFS and the WD Elements one plays video and displays photos just fine. But not the My Passport one.
Is there any specific reason? I just bought both of these last week together. and Both are 1TB hard drives.

Are you using the same USB cable to connect both? If you are using a longer USB cable for the Passport it might not be receiving enough energy to work correctly.
