WD My Passport 2T copy/paste files doesn't work

I recently purchased the 2T My Passport as a simple external backup disk. I’ve been copying PST files. When the files are small, the copy/paste is successful. When the files exceed approx. 50MB, the copy/paste hangs. The copy seems to start but it never finishes. The external drive is formated as NTFS. This is work laptop that is 64bit Windows 7. Most of the files that I need to copy are 100MB to 1GB in size.

Have you tried formatting the drive into EXFAT format and then transferred the PST files. Also, are you facing issues transferring other large size files?
